Fishing Holidays and Accommodation in Clackmannanshire Bramble Cottage

Clackmannanshire is mostly known for its numerous Salmon and trout fishing waters.

I have not been notified or come across any coarse fishing venues although that's not to say there are none. Many of the lochs and reservoirs are home to hard fighting brown trout with some containing rainbow trout. The River Devon, a tributary of the River Forth in Clackmannanshire, is noted for its Salmon, Sea Trout and Brown Trout fishing and day tickets are available from the controlling club, Devon Angling Association and other outlets. Something to bear in mind is, it is illegal to fish for salmon or sea trout on a Sunday.

Bramble Cottage- Fishing available Trout fishing and Salmon fishing

Bramble Cottage is a spacious barn conversion cottage amid spectacular Exmoor countryside. Just 2 miles from the dramatic Exmoor coastline and the picturesque twin villages of Lynton & Lynmouth with their wonderful selection of individual shops, cafes, restaurants, picturesque harbour and rock and shingle beach at Lynmouth offering stunning views of the high cliffs tumbling down to the sea. Bramble is located on a quiet country lane and only half a mile from the small hamlet of Barbrook with its local stores.  The cottage is a great base for those wishing to explore the splendour of Exmoor by foot, on horseback or in the car at any time of the year. One of only two cottages within the grounds of the owners own home the property is ideal for couples or a small family.
